Thank You, Hashem, for helping each of us out of our own personal Egyptian slavery... no matter what area we are stuck in.

In response to the smallest effort we make (as small as the eye-of-a-needle), You swing open the gates of heaven to assist us!

PRAISED ARE YOU, HASHEM!

Thank You, Hashem, for making Your people Israel with a good heart and deep love for our fellow Jews! You have planted within us the kindness of Avrohom,  the service of Yitzchak, and the truth of Yakov!

Thank You, Hashem for Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement!

With sincerity, fasting, and prayers-- our sins between man and G-d are forgiven by You!

All the times we forgot to bench, avoided Torah study, rushed through a shemona esrei, didn't thank You for the blessings we receive everyday, questioned Your goodness, fairness, or abilities, ignored You, stood before You in an immodest state, spurned a mitzva, and all the other myraids of things we do against You everyday... in all Your long-sufferingness and mercy you allow us a day to regret, fast, and pray and You wipe our slates clean.

Who could survive without Your mercy and kindness, Hashem?!

Thank You, thank You, thank You for Yom Kippur, Hashem!

-Isaiah 45:9

Thank You, Hashem, for all that You've made me!

Hashem is good to all; His mercies are on all His works

~ Psalm 145:9

Thank You, Hashem, for all of your patience and mercy while we grow toward You... because none of us could exist without it!

Prayers are a privilege for us to perform and a beautiful gift to the Jewish people!

To have an "audience with the King" throughout the day... to:

*Praise Him
*Thank Him
*Request things

These things develop our gratitude, humility, and strengthen our connection to Him.

Prayers remind us daily about:

*Hashem's awesome power as Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and how we should fear Him

*How He took us out of Egypt to serve Him

*His mercy, patience, and kindness and how we should love Him

~Prayers keep us focused on the centrality of the land of Israel, the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, and the coming of moshiach.

~Prayers remind us that Hashem (ultimately) rewards with good those who observe His commandments and punishes those who violate His commandments

~Prayers are our gift from Hashem: helping us to keep perspective and have courage.

They are the light we follow through the dark tunnel of life.

We would be lost without them!

Thank You, Hashem, for the gift of prayer and the ability to pray!

..."He is G-d Who nourishes and sustains all, and benefits all, and He prepares food for all of His creatures which He has created."

Even the street cats are remembered... when Hashem makes a person drop a piece of food on the floor before throwing it in the garbage, or it spoils enough to make it unfit for human consumption, or it simply becomes unwanted leftovers.

Each dropped, spoiled, or unwanted piece of food is destined for a particular street cat's nourishment. Even the mayonnaise left inside an empty jar that a cat will lick clean, is destined to sustain one of His creatures.

Praised be Hashem for all of His intricate coordination of the world!

Thank You, Hashem, for the sun and the rain that makes the crops grow~

Thank You, Hashem, for the miracles you perform in Israel during times of war. For the land of Israel is

"A land Hashem, your G-d, looks after; the eyes of Hashem your G-d are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year"

- Devarim 11:12

Lift your eyes upon high, and perceive Who created these!" -Isaiah 40:26

Did you ever wonder how a mother bird that flies out of its forest nest to find food can then find its nest again in the dense forest? Especially from above?

There are a group of cells within the bird's brain that are called ‘GPS neurons’. These neurons respond to the direction and strength of the Earth’s magnetic field and enable the birds to navigate.

Every neuron had its own characteristic response to the magnetic field, with each giving a sort of 3-D compass reading along the familiar north-south directions as well as pointing directly upward or downward. In life, this helps the bird determine not only its heading just as a compass does, but would also reveal its approximate position.

A bird can fly hundreds of miles and return to its nest. And seed-catching birds store food in hundreds or even thousands of sites, and retrieve it hours or even months later.

Up to a certain point, the GPS is useful, and when honing in on a more specific location, birds rely upon additional orientation cues, such as vision and smell.

This enables a bird to find its nest in a thick forest full of trees.

Praise Hashem, who gives each creature exactly what it needs to survive~

Thank You, Hashem, for the air-conditioned, cushy-seated, wheeled chariot that brings me to and fro inexpensively and in comfort.

A king of old never traveled in such luxury!

Thank You, Hashem, for the markets in Eretz Yisroel being filled with the abundance of a thousand harvests!

Do not say, "I never asked to be created"... because there was no "I" before you were created~

Thank You, Hashem, for creating me!

One fruit seed is an infinite powerhouse of life. One single seed can become an entire tree which will create crop after crop of a myraid of new pieces of fruit that contain new seeds, each able to do the same thing.

From the multitude of seeds in each piece of fruit from the first tree that ever existed... until all the fruit tress we have today, all over the world... and every fruit tree that has ever existed throughout history, until the last fruit tree that will ever exist in this world-- one cannot count the amount of fruit seeds there have been in the world. The number is infinite to us.

But it is not infinite to Hashem.

Hashem knows the destination of every single seed:

Which seed will fall into the ground and not germinate.

Which seed will be eaten by a particular animal.

Which seed will become a tree close by.

Which seed will be carried off, eaten somewhere else , planted somewhere else.

Which seeds will be sold and bought and planted far away from its parent tree.

Which individual person will eat what piece of fruit and what will happen to all of the seeds in that piece.

Even the seeds of one tree, in one season, in one place-- it is mind-boggling to think of Hashem knowing and keeping track of each seed... let alone all the seeds in all the trees that have ever existed, everywhere.

Can we even begin to contemplate that Hashem not only keeps track of each individual fruit seed... but keeps track of each insect (in the entire kingdom of insects) and its offspring--where it will live, what it will eat, what insects will come from it?

The same for each vegetable seed from all vegetables that ever planted and grew and will ever do so in the future?

The same for each land animal in the entire kingdom of animals that ever lived?

The same for every fish and fish egg in the seas, rivers, and streams?

The same for every bird that ever existed and will exist?

The same for each human being in the entire race of humanity, all throughout time?

And Hashem keeps perfect track of how each of these seeds, vegetation, insects, fish, birds, land animals, and human beings interact with each other throughout the history of time.

Add to this His control over the inanimate material of the world.

And to that, the perfect synchronicity with the weather from the sun, moon, every star, every cloud?

In addition to this, Hashem directs all human beings free-will decisions... to whom and where our decisions will play out.

And to that, His control over all of the spiritual worlds of soul energies.

This is our G-d!!!

And this... this is only a tiny fraction of what our limited human brains can "perceive" of the Almighty!

Praised be the name of Hashem and His glorious kingdom forever and ever!

This is our G-d

Behold, the Guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps... Psalms 121:4

Hashem, our G-d, has  been "awake" since the Exodus from Egypt until today. Think of what that means! He has never slept then awoken since then. He has never lost consciousness then regained it since then. He has never died then been born again since then. He has been fully aware, awake, and is not bound by time, nor in need of "rest". Hashem has been fully aware since He took the Jews out of Egypt and that "day" has never ended for Him.

Hashem has been awake since the Giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai until today.

Hashem has been awake since The Holocaust until today.

Hashem has been awake since the destruction of the Temples until today.

Hashem has been awake since He appeared to Moshe Rabbeinu in a bush.

Hashem has been awake since Yosef haTzadik was sold into slavery.

Hashem has been awake since Noah's ark was floating on the flooded world.

Hashem has been awake since Cain killed Abel.

Hashem has been awake since He set the sun and moon in their places.

Hashem has been "awake" for ever and will remain awake for ever.

This is our G-d!

HaKadosh Baruch Hu... Praised be He!
